Eileen Finn is an ESL teacher, research scientist, and painter based inPortland, Oregon, who specializes in acrylic paintings, which employ vibrant colors in the style of post-impressionism. Her art is heavily influenced by Van Gogh and Jose Guadalupe Posada. Ms. Finn only started painting six years ago. After a series of unfortunate events, her beloved dog passed away. Eileen started to explore her Mexican heritage and got into Day of the Dead art as a way to grieve and has been drawn to it ever since. Eileen Finn es una profesora de inglés, una investigadora científica, y una pintora con sede en Portland, Oregon quien se especializa en pinturas acrílicas que emplean colores vibrantes en el estilo de post impresionismo. Su arte está influenciado por Van Gogh y José Guadalupe Posada. Señorita Finn solo empezó 6 años antes, después de comenzar la quimioterapia. Después de algunos eventos desafortunados, su querido perro falleció. Eileen comenzó a explorar su descendencia mexicana y se interesó en el arte de día de los muertos, lo que se convirtió en una forma de superar esta etapa difícil de su vida y se ha sentido atraída desde entonces.
