Scared and lonely. Hungry and cold. Lost and misunderstood. The little dog trembled on the floor of the cement cage as he curled up in a corner and tried to go to sleep. He had no friends and no chance at freedom. Feeling abandoned by the world, the little dog finally fell drifted to sleep fearing that tomorrow would be no different. Will the little dog get out of the pound or put to sleep? Maybe...someone would rescue him? Perhaps the best dog of all is the one who has nothing to offer besides him-self.
