Reid, Struan: Rocks and Fossils

Part of the "Naturetrail" series, this title opens young readers' eyes to the world around them. It features illustrations and photographs that explain how rocks, minerals and fossils are actually formed, what they can tell us about the history of the earth and its future, and where you can see and find them.

Struan was born in East Africa and spent many years in Africa and the Middle East. He read Archaeology and Anthropology at UCL, and before joining Usborne worked and lived for a number of years in Petra, Jordan. He now lives in London and Dorset.
