The country of Vietnam is developing rapidly; we should formulate and complete appropriate policies and laws to promote the development of areas inhabited by ethnic minorities. The book is structured into eight chapters, including Chapter 1 Overview of natural and socio-economic conditions, ethnic characteristics, culture and traditions of the Khmer in the Mekong Delta. Chapter 2 The Traditional Festivals among the Khmer Mekong Delta - the values of Civilisation. Chapter 3 Policy preserves and promotes the values and cultural beliefs of the Khmer in the Mekong Delta. Chapter 4 Implementation of poverty reduction policies for the Khmer. Chapter 5 Conservation and Promotion of cultural values of the Khmer in the Mekong Delta - status and Results. Chapter 6 Implement policies on training and fostering cadres and civil servants of Khmer in the Mekong Delta. Chapter 7 Policy for developing cultural tourism in the Khmer Community in the Mekong Delta. Chapter 8 The development policy of traditional festival tourism in the Mekong Delta. Several policies were discussed to help improve the socioeconomic in the Mekong Delta.
