Advertising is everywhere. You find advertisements in magazines, on television, on the Internet, on billboards, on the radio, or in your mailbox. It comes in form of posters, short films, pop-ups, emails and brochures. People look at these advertisements differently. While some might see them as useful information, others view them as annoying and superfluous or simply as a manipulation of the consumer. However, the success of a good advertising campaign is undisputed. What causes the customer to buy the advertised product? Good and strategic copywriting plays a vital role in consumers¿ choices.

Babe¿-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, Romania Department of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising Lecturer Miss Mucundorfeanu does research on political communication, media communication, advertising, branding and copywriting. Her most recent publication is 'The Key Role of Storytelling in the Branding Process.' Social Networking, Communication Science, Strategic Communication, Advertising, Media History, Copywriting, Influencer marketing, Branding, Storytelling, Political Communication, Social Media Marketing, New Media Technology, Communication Meda Mucundorfeanu ist eine junge Kommunikationswissenschaftlerin, die an der Babes-Bolyai Universität in Rumänien arbeitet. Seit dem Jahr 2009 arbeitete sie innerhalb des deutschsprachigen Studiengangs für Kommunikationswissenschaft, PR und Werbung als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin. Seit 2014 ist sie Lektorin bei demselben Department. Seit 2010 ist Meda Mucundorfeanu Lehrbeauftragte an der Fakultät für Medien der Hochschule Mittweida. Ihr Werdegang ist interdisziplinär geprägt: Sie hat Kommunikationswissenschaft und Sprachwissenschaft auf der Bachelor-, aber auch auf der Master-Ebene studiert. Die Autorin ist auch staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin für die Sprachen Rumänisch, Deutsch und Englisch. Die Promotion in Geschichtswissenschaft hat sie im Jahre 2012 mit der Auszeichnung sehr gut absolviert. Die Publikationsliste von Meda Mucundorfeanu beinhaltet zahlreiche Artikel, die in Fachzeitschriften in der englischen, deutschen und rumänischen Sprache verfasst wurden.
